Luka Doncic Tops NBA Jersey Sales
Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic has made history by becoming the first non-American player to have the most popular jersey in the NBA, following his trade from the Dallas Mavericks. The 26-year-old Slovenian, who joined the Lakers in February, is the first player other than Stephen Curry or LeBron James to achieve this since the 2012-13 season. Jersey sales on the NBA store’s official site have increased by 21% since the trade deadline, with the Lakers also leading in team merchandise sales, followed by the Celtics, Warriors, Knicks, and Bulls.
