The Seattle Seahawks are open to trading backup quarterback Sam Howell, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler and Brady Henderson, who report interest in him from other teams. Howell, who joined the Seahawks in 2024 after two seasons with the Washington Commanders, played in two games for Seattle, completing 5 of 14 passes for 24 yards and one interception. Previously, he started 17 games for Washington in 2023, throwing for 3,946 yards, 21 touchdowns, and leading the league with 21 interceptions, and is currently expected to be the Seahawks’ No. 3 quarterback behind Sam Darnold and Drew Lock.
