Pittsburgh Penguins’ Prospect Tanner Howe Injured
Pittsburgh Penguins’ top forward prospect Tanner Howe, selected 46th overall in the 2024 NHL Draft, underwent successful reconstructive surgery to repair a torn ACL in his right knee, as announced by GM Kyle Dubas. The 19-year-old, who registered 18 goals and 46 points in the WHL this season, is expected to be sidelined for nine months, potentially returning by January 2026. Howe also represented Team Canada at the World Junior Championship, scoring one goal in five games, and signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Penguins after the draft.
