Colton Dach’s first NHL season was cut short due to an elbow injury, but he has since healed and been assigned to AHL Rockford after receiving medical clearance. The 22-year-old, originally drafted by Chicago in the second round of 2021, had a solid performance with 11 goals and 16 assists in 48 games with the IceHogs last season, and contributed two goals and five assists in 25 games with the Blackhawks this season. Rockford has won the opener of their best-of-three series, aiming for advancement with a win on Friday.
